FULL SUN TO LIGHT SHADE / AVERAGE TO DRY SOIL / 1 GALLONS
I’m in love with this plant! Course big felty leaves are like lamb’s ears on steroids and very long lived and deep rooted. In early summer there are stout flower stems rising knee to waist high with dark yellow snap-dragony flowers held in horizontal tiers. Leave it to dry on the stem and they are ornamental late into the year. Hot and dry seem indicated with this one, but I’ve grown them better where they get some love. This is a hot hot plant in the world but not around here. Why?
